Having spent the summer of 2021 neglecting to tend to my own garden I can see why maybe I wasnt the best choice to take on the videogame Garden StoryAdmittedly Im also not a grape unlike the games protagonist Concord. If you are looking for a cozy world-building game with some combat and a whole lot of charm and whimsy then The Grove welcomes you like a home away from home 910 Noisy Pixel. Garden Story has radicalised me. If you are happy to delve into an experience where everything but the gameplay shines then Garden Story is definitely worth checking out. First to Review Ive hired Ryan and his crew for various landscape projects over the past 5 years.
Garden Story s got a few rough patches of grass but the rest of it is vibrant and comforting. He also does regular maintenance routes in San Jose but since I dont need regular intervals I just hire him as needed. Saving the world doesnt always have to be super over the top action.
When you get over the initial hurdle of the first boss it becomes a more enjoyable time. Its not really aiming for that either. Moment-to-moment Garden Story can feel like a lot of different kinds of genres and games.
Garden Story shows you can do it by helping people and helping to rebuild a community in a more relaxed setting. Its probably closest to a Legend of Zelda game with top-down exploration and combat and some dungeons.
