Devils Garden Trail
Along the way go rock scrambling hike along fins of sandstone rock and enjoy some of the best views of the park.
Devils garden trail. Its also one of the most spectacular hikes you can take in any national park. Weve done plenty of hikes where the journey is boring with an amazing view at the end or vice versa. Devils Garden provides great close-up views of Landscape Arch with short side trails to Tunnel Pine Tree Navajo and Partition arches.
From the junction it is an easy 09 mile walk back the trailhead. The trailhead for Devils Garden is located at the north end of the park near the campground of the same name. The early portion of the trail is wide and well maintained.
You can make this an easy two-mile out-and-back to Landscape Arch and call it a day. An easy hike to Landscape Arch via Pine Tree and Tunnel Arches. The main trail continues to Landscape Arch near.
On this hike you will have a chance to see eight arches and one rock spire. Arches Devils Garden Primitive Loop If you take the Primitive Loop Trail and all short spur trails to nearby arches and other features this becomes the longest maintained trail in Arches National Park. Despite the fame of the Devils Garden Trail its difficulty level is what turns many travelers away.
The Devils Garden in Arches National Park is one of my favourite hikes. The Devils Garden Trail is easily the biggest main attraction in the park. After spending about a mile in Fin Canyon the trail breaks out on the eastern side of Devils Garden and eventually meets the main trail again just east of Landscape Arch.
There is no fixed direction of travel here it is more of a collection of crisscrossing trails that can be followed at leisure. While Delicate Arch receives most of the hype in the park Devils Garden Trail boasts eight different arches including the longest arch in North America. Or you can do a full 8-mile journey along the full loop spurs making this Arches one true hikers hike.
